Happy Old Year: Pens wrap Up '07 with Eighth Straight Win - 12/31/07

With the way they have been playing of late, the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins might be sad to see 2007 end. Alex Goligoski tied the team record with a four assist night, Chris Minard added two goals and the Penguins posted a 6-3 win over the Norfolk Admirals on New Year's Eve at the Wachovia Arena at Casey Plaza. Lucky Seven: Penguins Win Again, Beat Bingo, 5-2 - 12/29/07
Tim Brent recorded two goals and added an assist, as the Penguins posted a 5-2 win against the Binghamton Senators on Saturday night at Wachovia Arena. The victory extended the Penguins' winning streak to seven games, and gives the club a 19-12-0-1 mark headed into Monday night's New Year's Eve contest against the Norfolk Admirals. (Full Story)

Pens Make it Six Straight, Down Crunch in Syracuse - 12/27/07

Mac Keeps Ticking, Leads Penguins to Victory - 12/22/07

Kurtis McLean helped the Penguins to a win Friday by taking a stick to the face, which led to a five-minute power play where the team scored the decisive goals in a 2-1 victory against Manchester. His contribution was a little more direct on Saturday. (Full Story)


Penguins Ride Major Break to Victory - 12/21/07

Kurtis McLean took one for the team Friday night, and the team rewarded the Penguins forward. McLean took a stick to the face from the Manchester Monarchs' Peter Harrold midway through the game, leaving him with a gashed nose and right eye. But the Penguins scored twice on the ensuing major penalty, lifting the home club to a 2-1 win at Wachovia Arena. (Full Story)
