With the way they have been playing of late, the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins might be sad to see 2007 end. Alex Goligoski tied the team record with a four assist night, Chris Minard added two goals and the Penguins posted a 6-3 win over the Norfolk Admirals on New Year's Eve at the Wachovia Arena at Casey Plaza. Tim Brent recorded two goals and added an assist, as the Penguins posted a 5-2 win against the Binghamton Senators on Saturday night at Wachovia Arena. Kurtis McLean took one for the team Friday night, and the team rewarded the Penguins forward. McLean took a stick to the face from the Manchester Monarchs' Peter Harrold midway through the game, leaving him with a gashed nose and right eye.
